The NutriMill Grain Mill

I remember using one when I was a child. Believe it or not, I am not a hundred years old. I have always loved brown bread. 

About forty years ago I came across a bread recipe that the bread came out almost black. I am still looking for that recipe. It was a black and sweet bread. Each time when we are ready to bake bread we grind our wheat first and then use the flour to bake the bread. Some grain mills are so loud you have to go outside with them to grind the wheat. This one however, is what they call the whisper mill, it is much quieter.

You will not have any problem with bugs getting into your wheat berries, until it is ground into flour. A fifty pound bag usually lasts us about a year. We store it in a tin can and it keeps just fine. We have enjoyed the healthiest brown bread that you could ever ask for. There are no preservatives added to this bread, nor is any of the good content taken out. That is the luxury of using the electric Nutrimill grain mill.
